headlamp conversion
Guys, I'm trying to gather the courage to go ahead with the conversion, since the headlamps have been sitting on my workbench for over a month now.
I'd like to make sure that I have all that I need before going ahead with it.
My question is regarding the ' seal finishers' that seem to go along or inside the headlamp finishers. Are they a must, or are they simply unusefull. I have the finishers waiting for me at the dealership which is a45 minute drive, so I'd like to know if they are needed at all. If so, I'll order them too and make only one trip to the dealership.
I would have prefered getting the right plug-ins to match the new headlamps, and completely change the mounting plates to end up with a bolt-on modification, but this would set me back another $400-$500 so I might do it the same way as most others.......Or not at all. Still not sure about this.
