Default Help! M and S modes lights flashing!

Hi everyone,
This morning when I went to run some errands I started my car and the M and S mode lights on the dash were flashing, then when I put the car in drive The D in the dashboard and the little orange marker on the shifter were also both flashing but only in D,1,2, and 3.... what's going on?!?!

Please check down the list and you'll see I posted something very similar in the past few days.

What year and how many miles? Is the check engine list on?

Base upon what I've read and what I was told, 90% of the time it's a battery issue. With the engine off you should have about 12volts in the battery. With the engine running, AC and lights on your battery should be showing around 14volts. If you're not getting those readings it's the battery.

Check the battery grounds under the hood near the bottle jack and follow it all the way down. Also make sure the battery connectors are free of corrosion and tight. The reason I say that is your battery may be showing all signs of life but if down the line you may be losing continuity.

Good luck and post back your findings!

Thanks, I believe you are correct as I removed and cleaned both terminals and when I started the car they were no onger flashing, I'm not sure if it is fixed or just reset only time will tell but I am going to buy a new battery today.... Thanks for your help!

If your battery terminal were dirty from corrision, then your battery is leaking and most likely on it's way out, go get it tested at the local parts store, charging system should hold between 13.6 and 14.4 volts.
