Helppp
My 2004 was going in limp mode for the m s lights so I took it out cleaned it and put it back and now it won’t start. When I manually shift it using the lever under the car, the dash will recognise every gear except neutral and 3rd.
i need to fix this as it’s my only car and I go places. Any advice or suggestions? Thanks

New batteries are often sold without a full charge. New batteries are also sometimes faulty. I think you should check your battery voltage with a multimeter, then report back. I think Externet is on the right track with his suggestions.
I now put new batteries directly on the NECO and run a "repair" cycle on them so I know they are good and fully charged.
Haha decided to mess with the sensor again before I tried the battery. I adjusted it by loosening the two bolts that hold it on, then twisted it and heard something. I checked my dash and it finally read N. It started up no problem. Thanks for help guys!
