Default Hissing after truck turned off

Hi Forum!

I heard a slight hissing sound last night after I turned my truck off and got out, then heard it again this Morning after a short drive. It sounded like it was coming from rear passenger side of the DiscoII. It only last a few seconds then stops? At first I thought it was the tire, but the pressure is fine. The sounds eventually fades away.....appears to be driving fine, no 3 amigos, or any other check lights.... any ideas?
2003 - 63K
Brakes and tires less than 2 years
600 miles per month - short distances

Thanks all!

And instead of leak, it may be the vehicle adjusting - even though key is off, it will adjust to passengers leaving. From RAVE:

The door open signal powers the ECU for up to 30 minutes to allow the vehicle to re-level
when a load is removed or passengers leave the vehicle.

Thanks. I wondered about the level adjustment. Just that I've had my Disco for 8 years and never heard the hissing before. Nothing heavy in the truck and I weigh about 100 lbs soaking wet. Is there a way to determine if there's a leak and if so, is it critical to address??

A leak can be located by soaking areas with a spray of soapy water and watching for bubbles.... But usually problem leaks leave the truck hunkered down after being parked overnight.

Thanks all -

It doesn't appear to be hunkered down so maybe I've developed super-sonic hearing.
She's going in next week for her 60K service and I'm cringing at the thought of what type of repairs she might need. I hear that the magic # is 60K for Disco starting to need major repairs!

In any event, thanks for the peace of mind.
