Default How to clear codes / remove sensor

I am on SAI pump in my 03 Disco. I will get a 3rd pump but on my fix it list it is low priority and I'd like to clear the code. When I clear the code w my OBD II it comes back within a week. Is there any way to disconnect the sensor so that it does not send a code to the computer?

Not likely - won't be the only Rover with a light on.... The SAI system runs thru functional tests to detect things not working, so unplugging will just make another code come on.

Okay I will be trying to fix soon! I may need the dealer to fix/find leak/find out why pumps keep going bad?? OR I could get used to the light being on!!

Thanks for the quick response

All that pump is - is an air pump.
The pumps go bad as you are getting bad pumps from junkyards.
Get a pump from a low mileage Discovery.
