Default How do I install driver door window?

After dealing with a shattered driver door window and repairing a broken regulator, I can't seem to install the new driver door window. As I attempt to install the window, I can't find the appropriate angle needed to place each end inside its respective track.

I've had the most success dipping the front end down inside the door and then attempting to bring it up as I sink the rear end down, however each time I try I end up with the rear end in the track and the front end outside the track. Any tips?

I took the frame off, put glass in and slide it back together and bolt it back down

I was afraid of that. I need to buy a torx set in order to make that happen.

Thanks for the suggestion. Sweet mod list, btw.

X1. the only real way to do it. Gaffer tape the glass in place over the frame when you re-install in the door as it save the glass keep slipping down.

I would mark the position of the window frame on X and Y axis and try to reinstall in the same position to keep down wind noise. I learned the hard way.

Yup, like Abran said, check frame for angle against the gasket, or you'll be dealing with water intrusion and wind noise.
