Those temps are too warm I would bet your electric fan is seized as it should be kicking on at 212 or running most of the time when a/c is on. This is assuming outside temps in your area are above a certain threshold. Mine was running similar temps and it ended up being more then one item contributing to the problem. I ended up replacing seized electric fan, weak fan/clutch unit, radiator, water pump and upgrading to the gray soft spring thermostat. The hottest I have seen since in 103 deg outside temps last summer was 201 deg, and that was sitting in traffic. My running down the road temp is in between 188-194 deg.

My eliectric fan works. And the clutch on the main fan is fine i am going to use my temp gun and look at the radiator temp and see if there is a difference on the top compared to the bottom. I am going to fill it with coolent this evening. Looked around some and seen that you are not suposse to run just water i didn't know that.

Just read through this thread and have never laughed so hard reading a thread. PLEASE scooter invest in a camcorder and show us everything you do/try. Mainly your tree tugging. Kinda reminds me of a friend from highschool with an old Isuzu Trooper that would throw a flame from the exhaust and the starter ran the entire time but he only worried about blinkers not working, while using it as a DD with no doors or hood. Not trying to be smarta$$ or anything I'm jut extremely amused with this all.

Plain tap water is no good except in testing. Has minerals that cook out and clog radiator. Country boy well water is worse, has more mineral content that make it superior to mix with wiskey. Distilled water and "water wetter" will cool better than the 50/50 antifreeze, guys use it at the track where antifreeze is not desired due to slippery issues.

But for all around driving, not just in Miami or Mohave, 50/50 is best. Water wetter works some, but keep this in mind from their web site:

Does not lower cooling system below the thermostatically-controlled temperature
