How to mount D ring shackles on stock rear bumper?
Only have to buy it once. Here is another option for only $32

But back to the hitch pin; why would we be concerned it will bend with a strap attached to it and not be concerned about it bending if holding a shackle mount? I expect the answer is that the load is distributed across the full width of the receiver with the shackle mount but may be more concentrated with a strap. Is that correct?
Thank you for the help, the thing is though mine didn't come with a hitch receiver and I don't really want to spend 300 dollars on a new one, but I will look around and see if I can buy a cheaper one
I agree with that, I would love to get a metal bumper in front and rear, those are the best recovery points in my opinion, just wish I could afford it!
