Now, I know the fluids have probably turned into solids by now and all rubber will turn into power the second I touch it, so there will be a lot of replacing, cleaning, etc., and of course the gasket job (+ who knows what else is broken - it's a disco..). The chassis seems to be non-rusted. The body and interior are in very good shape. What would be a reasonable price I should offer her?
It would be worth putting in a lot of work, and you would end up with a great vehicle.

Well, so I guess a little persuasion (and a bit more cash to sweeten the deal) sometimes pays off. So here it is in it's Iclending Blue glory

now my old Disco has a buddy

Glad it worked out. Saved from the scrapper, out of her way, on the road to recovery (and addiction). It's a holiday miracle!

I'm very envious of those colors. I love my D2 but it's a bright red (Rutland Red, I think) which I think looks good on a defender but it has never really grown on me for the Disco. It seems to be relatively rare, which I guess is cool but if I could snap my fingers and make it green or blue, I would.

I really like my green one - i think this color spot on for a Disco. I'm still a bit torn about the blue one - kind of reminds me of a 70's bathroom. What makes it even weirder is that the black fender guards actually look good against this color. Quite honestly the blue one should be lowered rather than lifted, lol
