How to program remote?

The fob was new to the rover. It was doing the same thing until i unhooked the battery then it worked fine. Definatly sounds like you might have another problem.

Yeah I know, and it seems as though no one out there can answer whether the RAVE procedure should be done sitting in the vehicle using the door ***** to lock/unlock or standing outside using the key in the door lock.
