Was your air ride converted to coil?

Also, you can help isolate the problem by disconnecting the negative terminal from the battery and connecting a test light in between (one end hooked to negative post and other to the metal portion of the body). If test light...lights up...you have a drain. Start pulling fuses until it goes out. *Best to roll down driver's window, close doors (so dome lights go out completely) and wait a few minutes for the vehicles electronics to "go to sleep". Because, these could keep the test light lit for a short period of time...giving you a false reading at first.

If it doesn't go out by pulling fuses, then you will have to disconnect alternator, or starter, or any other add-on electrical items you may have.

Also, you should always remove negative terminal from battery first, when disconnecting. You can cause an arc while removing positive, causing the battery to explode (especially, if the battery has been being charged from a dead condition). Plus, some electronics (ECM, BCM, etc) do not like the power surge that comes along with the arcing of positive cable removal or installation. Always remove negative first and install it last.

Thanks. No Air Coil Conversion. I have a 2000 SD D2. ITs difficult for me because I am not an electrician. I will remove the Neg, I have looked at the battery drain post and what to do, just not that far yet. Thanks for the heads up. I would like to install a disconnect switch, not sure which is best with the Land rover battery connectors being different. Which disconnect works best with the D2 Pos Battery connector?
