that's just it. I have a well taken care of 4.0 in it. not 4.6, but I figure......may as well get the biggest gain possible while I am putting the 4.6 together. fun! not trying to build anything that is likely to fail or cause a ton of problems. i'd go for a sbc swap if I wanted to deal with headaches of computers and adapting.
I am going to keep the perfectly running 4.0 as a spare or maybe stick it in another truck

When I did all my work I looked at injectors. The closest thing I found to fitting was ford mustang 19lb injectors that a lot of guys seem to have put in their Range Rovers and Disco 1s. I ordered a set without making sure they would fit the D2, only to learn they were longer than the D2 injectors. Upon closer inspection, stock injectors are also 19 lb with a 4 hole design.

In short, I have not found any injectors that would work as an upgrade, nor have I found anyone on the Web who has ever upgraded the injectors in their D2.

Yeah, same here. found no real advantages to swap to other injectors. d1 appears to like ford ones. notta for us

So..... I am thinking , stick to the shaft on rockers. Easy enough to go stud or shaft.....couple of bucks difference.
My thinking= I don't want a hollows oiling, I'd rather have solid hd. Am I missing something? If I have adjustable rollers on standard rover shaft, am I missing some benefit of stud mounting the arms? Small difference is 10mm spacers for covers if I go shaft. $75 for spacers.

Also I found Buick 300 rocker arms with the same numbers, but cheaper.

ordering bearings and rings and have a question.
are the con rod bolts sty? me thinks yes, as I have found an arp set that says "torque pre stretch instructions" but those are for 3.5/3.9/4.2....so older. I think there is a difference, but not 100% sure. still I think they are sty, but I would like a second on that. just want to know if I needs em.
