I say good riddance. Don't get me wrong, he was hugely helpful every once in a while, but he was also way too "my way or the highway" when it came to things he disagreed with. And the places he was hugely helpful, we have people that are just as helpful now.
unfortunately I've seen that archetype on many forums. It's a shame because generally they are a large knowledge base.

I will say that on NLOC, a lot of the guys that were serious about their trucks met up several times a year for drag races and such. after you meet these people in person you disregard the Internet attitudes or just understand them better.

DiscoMike was like when the key IT guy at work leaves for another job and everyone is like "oh crap, now what are we going to do?" Then a few months go by, questions get answered, the network does not burn down and everyone is like "DiscoMike who?"

Cannot assist on the clearance question but piston diameter is 3.7" (94mm) according to my digital caliper.

Id like to know why instead of "pinning" the liner, we can't use a little JB weld on it at the bottom of the cylinder......

ideas?
I wouldn't do this until I had exhaust all my options. If you were committed to the engine, you could just pin all of the liners, but to determine that I would guess you'd have to have it apart.
