I (too) just bought a new '03 Disco II. It's my first Land Rover and very happy with it. It's silver with black SE 7 interior - 106k miles for $2500. Needed a little work (battery, water pump, window regulator, new spark plugs and wires); but runs great after a week of fixing it up. Good Luck!

 

Thanks for all of the nice comments. So far I am very happy with this. I however, do appear to have a small coolant leak that I need to identify. I purchased an ultragage so I can watch the temperature. Hopefully this weekend i will have time to rent pressure tester and check cooling system. PO said the intake gasket was recently replaced. Maybe it wasnt installed right or is loose.

I had a chance to test in the snow today and it is very good. Can't wait to get offroad.
