Hi guys lately I've noticed that despite being able to lock all of my doors remotely, my rear door latch can still be opened. The alarm will sound but the door is not locking.

Also, sometimes when I unlock the truck to get in I notice that the alarm system light is still on. The light wont stop blinking until I put the key in the ignition. Now maybe I just never noticed it before but I don't remember it always being this way.

Any ideas?

From RAVE shop manual:

Handset battery low indicator: If the handset battery is low, the driver's door is open and the ignition is switched off, the LED flashes two pulses of 50 ms on, 50 ms off, every 10 seconds.

For rear door could be needs lube of lock assembly, or wire in rubber hose to door is not making good contact for door lock motor.
