issue with coolant loss

Just a suggestion. If you can help it, don't ever let the needle get to the red indicator light. The engine is aluminum you risk serious damage.

The leak, my good ole Land Rover enthusiasts was....... due to a failing clamp right under the reservoir. The mystery was solved...damn coolant would just "disappear". Thank you again for all your help.

Woohoo! What do I win?!?!

So was it the leak/low coolant causing your temperature gauge to go all whacko or did you get the temp sensor replaced too?

Glad you were able to solve the issue and keep your Disco on the road

Exactly!...and I changed the ECT sensor so the gauge is running just fine. Thanks!
