Just want a quick confirmation about a MAF
I cleaned the previous MAF with the spray as there was no change after replacing it. Also cleaned the O2 plug and did the svs mod last night. Had the parts guy at advanced auto clear the codes, which there was an additional code, and have nothing to report. If the SES comes back on i'll get the codes read again and go from there.
I'm assuning since I did the SVS mod and the lights were on I need to have it cleared by an actual ABS capable scanner?

If the lights were on constantly, and didn't go off each time you started the disco, then there is probably something else wrong other than the SVS. The SVS fault isn't a hard fault and should reset on its own, unless the computer stores the code like 200 times or something.
After a stop at Advanced Auto again today I think I may have made some progress. Or at least have new codes to chase after.
Previous codes were:
1884
1171
1174
0102
0130
Last night I cleaned the MAF and the O2 connection and did the SVS mod.
Codes as of today:
0174
0171
1171
1174
Which leaves me to the conclusion the MAF and O2 connection are now fine. Could this mean there is a more general issue with getting gas to the engine causing it to run lean?
