I thought the exact same thing!

Would be handy if my clicker worked to begin with though. I'm too cheap to buy one and have it programmed.

I almost "face palmed" myself. I was hoping this would help me replace my fobs with the broken buttons.

Not a bad idea, though.

No advantage, just that the metal key part breaks away from the plastic fob all the time.
