2004 Discovery. I just finished cleaning the inside of the car, went to start it, and the key will not turn. It will only allow me to turn it forward maybe a millimeter or two and there is a beeping dash sound the whole time that I hold the key in that position. Tried locking and unlocking all of the doors, tried both keys, made sure all doors are closed - nothing. Battery is not dead as flashers still work. Anyone know what this could be?

 

Steering wheel lock. turn the wheel to one side and try, then the other.
