Default Kinversand '99 DII on eBay, 90,000 miles

I was on eBay earlier today avoiding work and found this DII on eBay. Looks pretty nice for a '99 and really low miles.

A dealer in Illinois has it although it's claimed to be a Florida truck. A list of repairs is included, including $1100 for a new front propshaft, dealer installed at 79K. The most obvious problem is that the clear coat has failed on the roof.

I'm not really into the Kinversand even though it's relatively rare, but if something like this shows up in Rutland Red with seven seats ...

That is a boat load of work! Stealership and indie guys must have had tuition or boat payments to make when she rolled in

I love that color (Denver Broncos fan). I think they are high on the price.

Roof paint is a common issue and not one that keeps me away from buying a D2. I also like that color and I had a chance to get one in TX up near Dallas, but the seller wouldn't budge on their price and I went with my Kalahari instead. I really like 99-02's without SAI!!!!

Just to wrap this up the winning bid was $4,051, which means another person bid $4,001. This was a no-reserve price auction with an opening bid of $2,900.

I'm guessing they are more expensive other places on earth.

That's a very clean truck. Great color too.

I bought my 2003 DII for $2,300 (Due to the slipped sleeve) with 85,000 miles from the same eBay seller, Stan in Illinois. My truck had brand new Goodyear Wranglers on them all around. He is a straight up honest dude with a perfect eBay rating. My truck was actually better than advertised. Stan stated it misfires on one banks, but my Land Rover tech says there's no misfire and it runs fine (except for the slipped sleeve - doesn't use a drop of coolant). The rear seats on my truck looks to be never used. The truck pulls very strong. I passed Virginia safety and with a little work just passed Virginia emissions last week. I am a happy camper with a great but noisy truck.

I looked at this auction. The rear seats look stained in one picture, but i would not hesitate to buy another Land Rover from Stan. Great seller. Highly recommend!!!

Honestly I thought it looked pretty rough. The seats were worn, headliner was just about to drop, paint on the roof was shot and it appeared a whole tube of silicone was pumped into the sunroof.

If it has been through one Illinois winter the underside is probably rotting.

Love that color though
