Default A Little Help On Neutral Position alarm?

Own and LR3 and just bought a 2003 Disco II. Wouldn't shift into Low, so I sprayed some lube up on the cable and assembly and played with it while rolling slow....got it to work. It will shift into Low and High now. BUT, In High, it is now just past the alarm sensor, I guess, and everytime I hit the brakes to slow down or hit a bump, the neutral alarm goes on and the dash light blinks. I don't think it is actually going into Neutral, just hitting the sensor.

I've worked the linkage and tried to make sure it's really seated in High...still works it way back to alarm mode intermittantly.

I haven't broken into the console to look at it yet....wanted to get advice first.

any pics of this sensor and how to access a great help also!

thanks

Download the RAVE, has shop manuals and electrical manual. Electrical has color picture of connectors, which include the rest of the parts around them.
