Default Lock problems 2004 Disco

Ok, haven't logged in/posted here in a looooooooooooong time. Sorry.

Anywho, got a 2004 Disco (Bea's her name) and the driver's side rear door will not unlock/lock using the key or the button on the dash. Can manually unlock/lock the door, however. All other doors seem to be ok.

Before trying to get into the door (and breaking something), I figured I'd ask and see if this might be as simple as an arm (or something) slipping off. If not, I'd rather have an idea so I can order any parts I (may) need.

Thanks in advance!

Does it look or sound like it's doing anything when you lock or unlock the doors?

Well, it does unlock/lock the other 3 doors so I have to say yes. However, I've not listened specifically to the door in question to see if there's anything happening inside. I'll have to do that as soon as I go out there.

Sounds like your actuator has given up the ghost. Read though this, if you are willing to do the work it's around a $5 fix: https://landroverforums.com/forum/di...-repair-30164/
