I "have" to use vacation time, or I will lose it, and have started planning a trip from Massachusetts, up the coast of Maine, across into Canada, over to Prince Edward Island, take a ferry to Newfoundland, up the West coast of Newfoundland to a ferry across to Labrador, take the Trans Labrador highway across and down to Quebec, to Montreal and back to Vermont and then Massachusetts. Should be about a 10 or12 day adventure, just what the Rover DNA was designed for.
Getting my 2004 sorted first and then accept the coast of fuel. I will carry a full-size spare, extra fluids, and the only other additional safety item because of the remoteness of Labrador will be renting a satellite phone in case of an emergency.
Good to hear about others who have had successful long trips in their Discos.

I just completed an 1800 mile lap around New Brunswick and Nova Scotia…. In our LR4. The D2 had been randomly misfiring which I did sort out the day before we left. Mrs. zski however wanted to ensure we would not be on the side of the road with 3 kids. It was a good trip and beautiful scenery on the Cabot Trail. We camped a Meat Cove for a few nights a long with some hotel stays to break up the driving.
