Looking for shortblock
Shortblock means the heads are off, longblock means the heads are on.

Last year I paid $1000 for a short block from an 02 P38, except it had brand new bearings, lifters, rods, cam shaft, oil pump, timing chain, freeze plugs, main seal, etc. Working fine 14k miles so far.

It was sort of a desperation sale, they guy lived in an apartment and was told he could not do engine swaps on the property. So it was sell the engine and the rover or move... Personally I would have moved...

A deal fell through mainly because of my location and shipping. I'm located in Canada so shipping a shortblock or longblock may be tricky.
If anyone is located in Canada and is selling one or knows someone selling let me know. I'll still consider buying from someone in the US if they don't mind the extra hassle of finding a shipping company.
