Question Lower Intake Manifold Question?

Hi. New to Forums and new to Land Rovers. I am doing my first head gasket job on a 2000 LR Disco II. It's going well, I'm in the reassembly phase. I am installing the lower intake manifiold and there is no room between the bolts and the fuel rail to get a torque wrench on there. Is there a special wrench you guys use? I tried a wobble extension and one of those universals to try and get on their it won't fit. When I took the intake off the only thing that fit in there was a box wrench, but it needs to be torqued to 38lbs. and I can't get the socket and Torque wrench on it. I have learned alot from this forum, you guys who have done this what wrench did you use? Thanks.

Use a crows-foot wrench on an extension.

Or remove the fuel rail. Your head gasket kit probably came with new injector o-rings, you might as well install them.

Or do it by feel.
I felt how tight a bolt I would access with the torque wrench.
Tried to tighten it a little more.
Felt how much force was required.
And apply that force to the hard to reach bolt.

Taking apart the fuel rail is nice - but adds risk
as the more things one takes apart - the more
probability of something breaking unintentionally.

The fuel rail is the most delicate part of the cylinder head replacement job.
I left mine ON.
