I can tell you, after logging over one million miles driving truck that cruise control is WAY more accurate than your foot, saves on the gas too.
Now if you are driving in the mountains or other really hilly terrain that is another story.
But for 90% of driving cruise control will save you money, and for me speeding tickets.
