Default LR2 Sunroon opens but no closey

We have a 2002 LR2 with 58K milesthat has a sun/moon roof that opens but doesn't close. It open right now even. I press the button to close it and I don't hear the motor turn, but if I try to open more (it can't open any more because it's already open all the way) I hear the motor atleast. I've Googled and searched many forum with no luck. Is there a Guru out there that can help?

Remove the switch panel from above your head (it prizes out carefully), then swap the 2 sunroof switches over, it could be just a duff switch, as I "assume" 1 roof works fine the other only goes one way.

First of all, you don't have a 2002 LR2, you have a 2002 D2.
You may want to use an allen wrench to manually close the roof through the rectangular shaped access opening in the plastic trim.

Thanks everyone. It magically worked today and closed. I'll switch the switches and change my profile.
