Thats a decent price for the CPK swap. It is a super bear to install because the down pipe from the exhaust manifold blocks any and all ways to get a wrench in there. It took me an hour on my back with car ramps 2 years ago. I would greatly give any shop $150 for that job. Not terrible but as brits would say, "very fiddilly".

I would keep an eye on your battery though. You should have 13.5 volts min. I have needed a new battery 2x over the 9 years of Rover ownership and the M&S lights flashed each time. Oh and limp mode is only 3rd gear. It never shifts from 1st, 2nd 3rd. Only 3rd all the time.
