What is the flat bottom made of? Is that plastic or what?

I like the looks of it overall.

I'm only 18 years old. first time for everything. used to help my dad with everything you could imagine so i have a little general knowledge. i just put in a k&n air filter is this bad?

Ive also flushed my cooling system, changed oil/ filter, planning on draining and re-filling my tranny next. the clamps on my intake system have been broken since i got the truck so if anyone could point me in the right direction id appreciate it.

My friends dad is a welder and im gonna have him fabricate bumper cap pieces to go in place of the plastic ends covering the fog lights.

Salvage yard for the air filter box parts.
You mentioned you were going to be draining the tranny, do you know how to refill it, when was the filter last changed?

i was reading the thread posted about changing the fluid and such. im a little intimidated by the fact that you have to fill it through the top fwd facing check plug? and im also intimidated by the fact that you just check it by checking if the fluid comes out steadily by the check plug. - no idea about when it was changed. knowing people now a days it hasnt been.

And also if i just back out the check plug can i check the fluid without losing a lot?
