I installed a Continental Elite belt a couple years ago and it failed in under 8000 miles. Flew apart. Crazy.
They may be quiet, and my experience may be a distant outlier, but it's scared the crap out of my son who was away at college with the truck. Happily there is a good Rover shop In Wilmington, NC. They ruled out any other problem that may have caused the belt to fail and installed a new belt. It still cost me a good-sized chunk of change.
