Many codes and misfiring
I have a couple of new questions on this subject before I break down and take this lump to a shop. One, could the smaller 7mm Magnacores becausing the continued misfires? I have a pack of STIs. I've used STI wires before with good results. Could taking the time to swap out the new Magnacores for the STIs I have be worth another three hours? Also, could anything else lead to these misfires such as bad O2 sensors or if any of that degreaser had gotten sucked into the air intake, somehow? Would problems with the fuel injectors (though I doubt four at the same time) cause these conditions and codes, or would those show up as something else? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
I did that with the Sea Foam. 3/4 of one can was sucked into the intake through the vacuum hose from the brake booster and one whole can was put into a full tank of gasoline. The Sea Foam works on everyone else's Rover just fine, and we had great results on all of the other vehicles we Foamed that day and the days before. I believe my problems all started after the engine cleaning with the degreaser.
I am going to ask a silly question, I am very new to the rover world and have bought 2 disco 1 's recently. What are the 3 amigos? I have seen it metioned before but was never explaine what it is. Sorry for the dumb question just trying to absorb as much info as I can on these vehicles.
