Default Mix-n-match brake rotors?

Initially, I thought that I needed 4 rotors for my '03 Disco (49.5k).

After looking at them more carefully, it looks as though I only need front rotors.

Would it be acceptable to, say, replace the front rotors and pads with EBC units while leaving the rear rotors and pads alone?

When the rear rotors are due, I'd upgrade them as well.

Ditto, the trk doesnt care, as long as you use the same brakes or rotors on the same axle.

Thanks!

Someone in another thread brought up the slotted/drilled Proline rotors. They can be had for $110 per set from Rovers North.

Anyone got anything to say about them?

Do you off-road? If so dont use drilled and slotted rotors, then can fill with mud and cause problems.
As far as stopping goes, they are great. They will shorten your stopping distance.

A lot more highway than off-roading.

The extra stopping power and the cost makes them a no brainer.

Thanks!
