Talking Mobil-1

Welp, this weekend worked out to correspond with my next oil change. Now at 65,000 even, the first change I used dino oil left over from the previous ride - This time I picked up Mobil-1 full synthetic and a nice new Fram filter (which I've used for ever, Pennzoil was my dino choice) so anywho, I change the oil fire up the truck A N D even while verifying there were no leaks I immediately noticed the engine sounds smoother. Don't get me wrong, I think we have a fine truck and it ran smooth before BUT now it just plain ol' runs smoother - Kewl!

Just wanted to throw that out there

Robert

Good to hear, Mobil 1 has never done me any wrong.
Next time try a Purolator or a WIX filter, NAPA brand is made by WIX.
Both Purolator and WIX are rated as the 2 best filters on the market with the Pure One filter being rated as the best oil filter on the market.

I use Mobil-1 in both my vehicles and have never had a problem. I used to swear by Royal Purple until the price went out of control. $9 for a quart of oil is ridiculous. When I first started using RP I paid $19 a gallon, and if I bought a 5 gallon pail it was only $85. I about had a stroke when I walked in to Napa and saw a $35 price tag on a gallon jug of RP. I went over to Costco and paid $35 for a 6 quart case of Mobil-1.

I just purchased my Mobil1 10W/40 high mileage from Wall Mart for $22 for a 5 quart container, not bad at $4.40 a quart.

Yep, this is exactly what I got and where I got it. Great minds.....yea you right, probably just luck.

We only have Sams (no Costco here) they have the 6 qt's for 33 bucks. Thats a good combination for me as I hate measuring out the sixth from a fiver.
