Post Motor Mount Install

I am changing my broken motor mounts today on my 2004 Discovery. I am taking pictures and documenting for a how to. I will post pictures and instructions tomorrow. So far pretty strait forward on the passenger side that i did. The drivers side is another story as the top bolt is nearly imossible to access. You have to use a open end wrench as a socket does not fit on the top nut and can make only inch turns. I have had to make a pretty animated tool combination's to get the nuts off the mounts. To lift the motor up is really easy with a floor jack and a bunch of 2x4 pieces stacked about 4 high. You'll see. I will show all tools i used also.

Thanks Chris

I should have finished by morning. I am uplaoding my pictures i took from my iphone and will upload with instructions. Keep in mind the drivers side mount will make you see red as to how dumb the idiot who designed this mount could actually hold a job much less get one. A real F**&^% idiot. Plan on a full day because of this one mount. I think it's a 4 to 5 hour job at the dealer. Also take note that i stress be carfull as it's a strait forward job but remember you have a engine jacked up and fiddeling with these mounts and placement of you fingers needs carfull attention. I had no problems as i listen to every noise and pay attention to where my fingers are but doing this could result in loosing fingers. "Be very carfull and trust nothing and you should be ok"... I will elaborate in my instructions tomorrow,

Thanks Chris
