motor mounts, oil leak, and check engine light
When you ask what are u-joints, you need some help in trouble shooting your trucks list of issues.
Give it some time and do lots of reading and with time you can start tackling these crazy Rovers

so..... when ever i put the rover in gear(drive and especially reverse), i hear a clunk. i looked underneath and noticed that the clunk is the front drive shaft moving. the clunks get louder when the 4x4 is in low gear. is this normal?
ill post a video if youd like.

First thing in he morning or after the truck has been siting for a while a clunk is normal. Like you have seen it is the driveshaft turning and taking up the slack from the differentials. Since these trucks have a true center differential with gears there are some "thunks" in the driveline. You probably notice a thunk when you step on the gas hard after coming to a stop there is a thunk too.
There are some good videos on u-tube explaining how differentials work. I still have a thunk even after I swapped my driveshaft out. You may want to look at your driveshaft u-joints to make sure they are OK though.

Once you get a list of problems, get back to us with the list/estimate, parts and labor and let us help you.
Don't take this wrong, but it sounds like you are only mechanically inclined enough to fill your gas tank, so go find a good mechanic, who knows Rovers, not the dealer and have them do an inspection on your truck.
