I bought my D2 with a really cracked and shattered front bumper cover with only one fog light. After a year of searching for a decent replacement I finally found one but was disappointed when I found that the fog lights on my replacement were damaged beyond repair. An OEM replacement cost more than I wanted to spend but I still wanted the lights to be in the stock locations so I decided to fab up some mounts for some LED lights. Here’s what I ended up with:


The top side of the 3D printed mounting “tables” I designed.

The under side has a stiffening ridge and two angled tabs that bolt through the front of the bumper.

I bent the bottom fog light mount up to level then mounted these posts I machined to them.

The plate bolts to the posts and the front of the bumper through the angled tabs.

The LED light then mounts to the plate.
