Default My power outlet fuse pops constantly (see photo)

It is loose in the center console because the green clip that holds it to the console is broken. When I remove my phone charger it pulls the power outlet out a centimeter or so and I hear the fuse pop. Its a real pain. I don't know why the power outlets' movement has anything to do with a short. Im thinking of swapping the lighter out for a USB plug. what gives with the loose plug causing the fuse to pop?

The power wire to the back of the socket must be shorting to the case of the socket when it moves around. Shorting causes the fuse to blow.

A continuous blown fuse isn’t good.
Get it fixed or replaced ASAP.

You could use a dab of silicon to hold the lighter in place or just replace it with a USB plug
