Narrow 16" Steel Wheel Source

Narrow 16" Steel Wheel Source
Where can I find narrow steel 16" wheels for a D2? I want to run 235/85-R16 tires and the stock 8" wide rims aren't ideal for these tires. I know the P38 spare works, but almost unobtainable. Saw a thread where a Road Ready Honda Odyssey 560-63884A wheel will work if the center bore is machined from 64.1mm to 70.1mm, but these are out of stock everywhere.

I have read they "can" be run on 8" wide wheels, but just don't look right. I found a great deal on 4 OEM 16" DR2 wheels ($50.00) that I just can't pass up if I want to swap to 16" tires. My thoughts are going to a wider tire like a 265/75-R16 while I continue to search for and put together a set of the hard to find P38 steel spare wheels.

I order from Tire Rack or Discount Tire but if you aren’t going to be mounting and balancing them yourself then there usually that big of a cost advantage. If you don’t know anything about tires my best advice is to find a reputable locally owned shop that will give you advice without just trying to sell you the most expensive tires.

I just came across this thread I had saved from a while back. Apparently the steelies that originally came on the Honda Odyssey are 7x16 5x120 64.1mm CB 50mm offset.
"The Honda wheel is at 50mm vs. 57mm stock for offset so outboard 7mm"
So the center bore would have to be machined out or you can get an adapter from this company (i'm sure there are others that do this).
I might switch to this setup from my 16" wheels that look like comets.

I've had good luck in the past with a die grinder opening up the center register of wheels. As long as the wheel you use accepts acorn style lug nuts, and that's what you use, the hub centric fit is not critical. There is some added strength, but that only really matters if two or more of your lug studs are compromised.
