@BS50MGSXR The cable is unlikely to have gone bad more likely it is dry and/or not adjusted correctly
Hit the springs on the side of the throttle body with a good lube, as well as the cables and check the cable tension. But it you look a the image below, you need to lube the bare cable and then press your pedal up and down a few times to get things moving freely.
You can also manually active the throttle to make sure it is springing back correctly. If it seems to be binding remove the cables, and see if it works correctly without them. If it does replace them one at time to see which one is binding. Then lubricate liberally and work the cable it should free up.
If you still want to replace it I can send you a used one for 5.00 plus shipping.
Check page 376 or 19.20.05 in the RAVE for adjustment info.

Its been a while sins getting on here and checking the thread, I did get all the head lights working, was just one bad bulb and the driver side was a dirty connection. Got two new bulbs and kept the one working bulb as a spare. One of the PIAA lights are working as well but still need to look into that as well. Wish I had checked this earlier, as I did end up buying a used throttle cable on Ebay a week or so ago. The sticky throttle seems to be the spring return on the peddle I noticed recently. So I still need to pull the cable from one of the ends and test the peddle throw. After this, I still need to chase down the leak in the roof and check into the 3 amigo lights. How tricky is pulling the throttle cable from the peddle side?
