Today leaving my driveway it was loud and it happens especially when my vehicle is on an incline. Is this probably something with my transmission or something? It is loud and sounds pretty rough when it happens. If I'm stopped on an incline and put it in reverse it sounds like something is about to break. Doesn't make noises when I'm moving and the automatic transmission shifts gears.
So how often do you lube the drive shaft???
Have you checked to see if it is failing?
Send me your tele number, we should talk, in the mean time, DON'T drive it.

Mike the drive shaft is like 5 days old . It was lubed up the max when I put it on last saturday so that isn't the problem (hopefully at least). My # is in your inbox

Well, I had that problem. Clunking from P to D or R to D. I ended up having a broken U-joint on the front drive shaft. I replaced that and the clunking stopped. Just a thought.
