Need Superlock Disable Instructions
I want to disable it because:
1. Is not safe for my family if it fails in an accident they could get stuck in the car.
2. Is a bad design is good for countries like UK Central and South America (not for the US).
3. It cause more trouble than benefit.
4. I'm scared to leave my truck with the valet or my wife.
If I could disable the alarm too, I will do it. Why you should be aware if you pay for a full coverage insurance.

as grandkodiak said Mikes a good guy but you must take into account he answers the same questions every day when all people (myself included) need to do is use the search bar on here and kick back and read. If its urgent then not having the time to research is understandable. I superlocked myself before just being blonde.
Thank you Savannah Buzz, I got them I finally unlock my door I just have to deactivate the superlock for ever I open a new tread with the solution.

Took out the fuse box under steering column with the Idm module cleaned out corrosion plugged back up disabled super lockout. Press unlock button on dash after unlock all doors😁👍👍 I then cut each pink and slate wire in every door no more problems hope this helps.
Hi Mike:
I bought an 03 disco II...haven't set in it yet...someday. It's in florida...I'm in ottawa where the major ****storm is ongoing (work)...
The battery had died since I had it delivered on a carrier. The guy next to me picked up a new battery (interstate) and installed it. But could
not get it to start. Door chimes went on when he opened the lock but key in ignition and start attempt was futile...no-go. Looks like superlock
got enabled somehow.
What is the procedure to disable this?
thx.

Super-Lock = door lock feature which is not to be confused with Immobilized. If the red light is on solid and it will not start try making sure all the doors are fully closed, lock it via the fob, let it arm up, then unlock with the remote. Or try the door key lock/unlock and usually that will clear it up. I've also had em go nuts but roll the drivers window down, then disconnect the battery, hop in and turn the lights on, this will discharge the electronics system completely, then reconnect the battery, and see what it does after that.
I've only had a D1/D2 get immobilized personally 1-2 times and it was reset by either making the sensors inside the cabin detect me banging on the glass which set the alarm off which I then shut off via the remote, or by disconnecting the battery, and turning the headlight switch to on, and then reconnecting the battery with all the doors fully closed and the hood switch closed as well.

The guy who put the battery in, got in, shut the drivers door to turn the chimes off, then put the window down (drivers), locked the doors with the FOB,
then unlocked them and that seemed to do the trick.
thx. for the quick reply.
