New to the forum
hello all,
im new to this forum but im very happy i have found it. i purchased my 2001 land rover discovery II last winter as my "winter beater", but it has become my everyday driver. i drive 110 miles a day to and from work but i will gladly spend the money on gas becuase i love this truck. i do however have some issues recently that i would like to see if any one else has experienced; i have a small leak of oil at the valve cover gasket that i think will be an easy fix but im not sure why it happend and also i have a "gargling" sound i think is coming from my coolant res. and i dont know why this is happening. the coolant seems to be leaking slowly but it makes the noise every time i start the truck. any one out there ever hear of these issues?
thanks

Welcome to Chaos Manor. Please take advantage of the free download of the factory shop manuals, called the RAVE, in my link below. Includes owners manuals.
This area is not for in depth tech questions, but quickly, so you can serach for it, the valve cover gaskets need to be snugged up each oil change with a 12 point 8mm socket. Sears or big auto parts store, try to get 1/4 inch drive size.
Bubbles under dash are bubbles in your cooling system. Search for methods on the site to bleed the air from the cooling system, and also search for "head gaskets" - Post more questions in the particular area of the forum to get more answers.
