Default New front seats are on the way.

I have a 2003 Disco model S which is the entry level model without some features of the other models. Recently my drivers side seat which is vinyl and not leather began to tear and break apart. I got a quote from an upholstery shop of close to $500 to redo the seat in black leather that would match the vinyl passenger ones.

The other day I won an auction on Ebay for 2 of the leather front seats from a 2003 with arm rest, heating panels and motors, etc for $425 plus $90 for shipping. They are in good condition with no cracks or damage. Not to bad, I think. Anyway, they are on the way.

Some time back, in anticpation of this upgrade I also got the switch console that includes the heated seat switches and installed that. Correct if I am wrong but shouldn't this be just a case of removing the old seats and installing these and shouldn't the heated seats work when the harness is attached to the new seats?

Thanks and I'll take my answer off of the air!

Chris
