Default New here

I recently purchased a 2003 discovery in pretty good shape. I have fixed the AC and the radio, but the right (passenger) window wont go all the way up and down. It goes a bit and then there is a sound like it's jumping out of gear. I took it apart and could only see that one of the nylon sliders was broken other than that seems ok. Thought that the motor needed tightening put it all back together and the same thing. I'm not sure if the problem is the motor or the regulator. Any advise on this. It's not a real big deal but I'd like for everything to work. Thanks

Probably binding due to the broken guide

Army is probably correct. By the way, a 2003 truck is a DII.

Thanks Army for the info. Walt, I wondered about that, but the back end just says discovery. It's a bit confusing.
Appreciate the replies and information.

When you get the door card off, make sure and have some extra clips they may break. Also, plastic panel separator kit.

You may know all this of course, but it is not a bad job, I have done new regulators in both front doors, and one rear.
