Hey, acamoto: When your rear suspension is on the bumpstops, do your tires rub in the wheel wells?
I am putting a 2 inch terrafirrma lift on my D2 this week with SLS spacers. I plan on going with 265 65 18 tires. Seems when the truck is lifted off the ground and supported by the frame, the air bags deflate...not sure if this is supposed to happen. But when it does this, after moving the truck a short distance the system pumps right back up. I just don't want to get the truck to the tire shop after putting the lift on and have issues after they install the larger tires.

Well, I have seen no problems with the LTX M/S2s in the 106 load -- and a nasty front-right shake I had climbing trough 50mph completely went away, which was either the new tire or the wheel balance.
I've got about 1000 miles on them so far, and I'm quite happy with them. Nice to have real tires...

Fun Followup:
In July 17, I put a screw through one of them, and nobody would repair it -- one said they didn't use plugs, and this required one (Bridgestone lawsuit policy outcome), and the other (Kaufmann, the original seller) because the tires (only 3-1/2 years old) were dry-rotted.
I already wasn't happy with the big K, as mentioned, for screwing me on the not-actually-road-hazard coverage, so I ranted about it a bit on twitter.
Got a call *that night* from K's regional manager in Atlanta. Who'd already talked to the Michelin regional manager. At 7:30pm.
They were going to replace the holed tire for free. But they didn't have M/S2's anymore; they had to use an LTX Defender. If I wanted to maintain the matched set, they'd give me the other three at half price.
I took it. $434 mounted and spun.
This is why I buy Michelins, though I still won't buy em from Kaufmann's, next time.

As long as your TC is working, No amigos, these trucks are great in the snow regardless. Any decent M/S rated multi ply tire with the proper load rating will do the job. I really like the Michelins I have but they are expensive. Some people opt for cheaper tires. Personally when you only buy tires every 5 years or so, I go expensive, same with shoes.
