New user/ coolent leak
Hi today I learned my 2000 landy D2 has a spraying leak from the coolent on the drivers side where two small hoses come to meet.. It starts over heating if I drive it 5 miles now my question is do I need a new hose or new block where the hoses meet or can I get a sealent for it, or just tighten it? That is the best I can explain it. Thsnk you in advance.

And bypass (hose to hose with double male splice from parts store) or deal with it promptly, you will be lucky if overheating has not damaged engine (head gaskets, slipped sleeve). By overheating, I mean well above 50% on the gauge. If at end of scale or red light on, very bad sign. If you plug in an Ultra Gauge, you can watch that temperature and react before the factory gauge even goes off normal.
Many Discos are in the salvage yard because someone drove them when hot, thought they could make it to the next exit, or back home, etc. A case of bottled water in the cargo area is cheap insurance. Distilled would be better. It removes the temptation to keep driving before dealing with overheating.
