Default No brakes after bleeding

Today I installed the Atlantic British stainless hoses on my 2001 Disco. Used the conventional 2 man bleeding method and ran 2 quarts of fluid thru to get all of the old out.

After doing this the pedal initially, for a couple seconds, is firn and then goes to the fllor. I am pretty sure we did this correctly- it's pretty straightforward, but anyone have this happen to them?

I will do it all again tomorrow if I can and see if I made some mistake but just looking for ideas to check out.

No leaks anywhere at all, but obviously did something wrong.

If brakes were fine before replacing to stainless, almost no chance that master cylinder dad gone bad all of sudden,
So perhaps you didn't bleed properly, or maybe wrong sequence?

You need to activate the ABS system to get a complete bleed.

three ways... Use Notebook computer... jump the modulator...

Or the home hack way, after one round of the above bleed procedure, put T-case in low range and activate downhill decent control at about 15mph and let the truck come to a stop. Rebleed in proper sequence.

Shouldn't be needed but repeat if so.

If the pedal is firm and then drops you probably have a leak somewhere. If you just changed the four stainless lines there ia no reason to trip abs pump as all your work was well after the pump.
