Post No heat blowing from the main vents

I'm nursing a 2003 DiscoII and need some guidance on troubleshooting steps regarding my heater. When activated, I get no heat from the vents located on the dash, but only get heat coming from the leg and winshield areas no matter which power setting is selected.

I searched previous threads, which suggested accessing the blower fan by removing the glove compartment and accessing the fan for cleaning. This is what I plan to do. However, since there's heat blowing out from the leg and the defroster vents, that tells me that the blower fan is working. Perhaps there is something obstructing airflow to the main vents in the dash instead. Any knowledge and advice is much appreciated. Thanks for your attention.

Check your coolant level, if its too low then the heat will blow cold, fill it up and mark a line with a sharpie to see if Theres a leak

Thank you for the quick response. My coolant level is solid. I've been checking it and topping it off as needed. I do have heat...it's just not blowing out of the main vents aimed at the driver and passaenger. I only get heat from the leg area and the windshield defroster areas. The heat just seems to ooze out of the main vents.
