I'm glad you figured it out Wolf...defective T-stats has been mentioned on this forum in the past as a culprit to overheating.

I talked to Disco Mike yesterday and he said that there has been a 60% failure rate on LR T-stats, very high. I will never assume since it's new that it works, at least not a LR part. What I've learned is always test first before install. Wish I would have found this to be the issue before I spent $350.00 on a radiator and four hours to replace. Live and learn, good thing I'm having fun doing it.
