Thank you. I will do that. I didn't realize the pump might shut off if pressure is achieved. Most European cars don't have a mechanism for that. They simply run the pump constantly and return all the fuel that pushes past the regulator. I'm going to lift up the rail tonight to insure i'm getting proper fuel volume

another possibility of why the truck will run but then dies down the road, how about the fuel tank vent? i think if it were blocked it could possibly cause an issue like this, just a guess though.

Fuel "volume" or not, I think if you have 50 psi will cranking, the engine should at least start? Back when you said it started with the plenium off, are you sure you dont have an air intake issue? maybe something blocked in the air box? Hmm.. maybe a rag sucked in somewhere? Seen it before

Solution! Bad IDM! Swapped oue from another rover. Started immediately
